Bozeman Trailers was founded by Army veteran and West Point graduate Josh Gilliam. When he retired after 20 years of service he, and his friend Shad, pivoted into emergency fire response supporting CAL FIRE, where he quickly found himself searching for a dependable lowbed trailer at a practical price. Instead, he encountered long lead times, limited customization, and price tags that far exceeded what many businesses could justify. Rather than settling, Josh used expertise he’d already cultivated in manufacturing to design a better alternative. As Bozeman's first customer, he obsessed over every detail, creating customizable trailers that eliminate unnecessary cost without sacrificing the strength, reliability, or craftsmanship professionals depend on. Today, Bozeman Trailers is passionate about making premium-quality trailers more accessible to hardworking businesses. Beyond building dependable equipment, the company is committed to supporting something greater: a portion of every purchase helps advance religious freedom in closed countries, giving every trailer a purpose beyond the road.
